Will.i.am’s Multi-Million Dollar Custom Car Collection In 2024

Will.i.am’s multi-million dollar car collection consists of 9 cars of which only the Bentley and McLaren have not been customized while the rest have been customized from top to bottom by the hands of West Coast Customs. Whether it's appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show with his $900,000 custom Beetle or making headlines in top automotive magazines such as Car and Driver and Top Gear,  Will.i.am's knack for custom cars always seems to catch every automobile nerd's attention.

9. 2015 Lexus NX 200t F Sport (custom)

The 2015 Lexus NX 200t F Sport custom-built for Will.i.am was revealed at the 2014 Paris Fashion Show. The car was finished in Lexus’ matte pearl white color and got a widebody kit. Apart from that, the car gets black-tinted windows, 22-inch matte black alloy wheels, a bright orange finish on brake calipers, and a few more add-ons.

The 2015 custom Lexus NX 200t F Sport owned by Will.i.am has the Nappa leather upholstery. Considering the customization that went into his Lexus its price estimate is hard to tell but a new one in 2015 started at $40,700.

8. 1958 Chevrolet Corvette (custom)

Here comes the next Will I Am car. The 1958 Chevrolet Corvette dubbed Vette.i.am or ‘Willvette’ is the most kick-ass as well as controversial-looking car in Will.i.am’s collection. Finished in bright red with a dash of silver on the doors and the front fender, the 1958 Corvette has been tastefully recreated by West Coast Customs for the wrapper.

Apart from the futuristic-looking exterior the interior of Will.i.am’s Corvette has been taken from a C6 and sports a massive touchscreen on the center console. While for the audio custom sound system has been installed inside. As for the price of the “Willvette’, it cost the Grammy winner a total of $687,500.

7. Tesla Model S (custom)

The Tesla Model S is the next car in the long list of customized cars owned by Will.i.am. The already futuristic-looking Model S wasn’t enough so the wrapper gave it for customization. The result was a white Model S with widebody kits, custom side panels, custom rear lights, and rimless alloy wheels.

Will.i.am’s custom Tesla Model S retains its all-electric powertrain. Apart from that, the car also gets suicide doors, fake intakes, and heavily tinted windows. The custom Model S was created by Will.i.am to support his charity brand IAMAUTO but the terrible-looking Tesla failed to attract a buyer.

6. Tesla Roadster (Gen. 1) (custom)

The first-generation Tesla Roadster owned by Will.i.am is named ‘The Rocket’ and West Coast Custom was commissioned to make it. The idea behind the customization was to create a supercar using the body of a Tesla Roadster. So the team at West Coast Customs took away all the panels and recreated them using carbon fiber. The glass panel was also custom-made to fit the newly designed body.

Considering the amount of work that went into the car, the rapper would have put the same amount of money, if not less, as the price of a new Roadster which was $120,000. The custom first-generation Tesla Roadster in Will.i.am’s collection gets a single electric motor that runs the rear wheels and the interior was also redesigned from scratch as per Will.i.am’s choice and requirements.

5. 2022 Mercedes-AMG GT (custom)

The 2022 Mercedes-AMG GT is a one-off custom car made by Will.i.am in collaboration with Mercedes-AMG and West Coast Customs. The base car is an AMG GT 4-door sedan that has been customized with the front fascia inspired by the G-Wagon and other bits inspired by the Mercedes-Benz SLS Gullwing. The car is supposed to be auctioned for his charitable organization. The price of the custom AMG GT is not available but a new 2022 Mercedes-AMG GT starts at $159,350.

This one-of-concept car called WILL.I.AMG boasts suicide doors and the Mercedes logo was replaced with an image of a bear that symbolizes the phrase "Bear Witness". Also, the 2022 custom Mercedes-AMG GT made by Will.i.am supports his philanthropic project named "The Flip".

4. Bentley Continental GT

Will.i.am owns a gray color Bentley Continental GT although the exact model year of his car is not known. The Continental GT is one of the few cars in his collection that hasn’t been customized with aftermarket body kits and parts. However, the wrapper did opt for a neon green finish on side skirts, front splitters, and mirror caps.

Will.i.am’s Bentley Continental GT is not customized like his other cars but the wheels are the optional 22-inch ones finished in a gloss-black color. That said, his Continental GT price is unknown but a 2022 model starts at $202,500.

3. 2013 McLaren MP4 12C

The 2013 McLaren MP4 12C owned by Will.i.am is finished in black and is the only other car that he hasn’t customized. With a starting price of $239,400 and its beautiful design are reasons good enough for him to spare this one. It is also a popular car among celebrities with Ludacris also having one in his car collection.

The 2013 McLaren MP4 12C owned by Will.i.am is powered by a twin-turbocharged, 3.8-liter V8 engine. It makes 616 hp and 600 lb-ft of torque and is mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission. McLaren claims the MP4 12C does 0-62 MPH in 3.1 seconds and has a top speed of 207 MPH.

2. DeLorean DMC-12 (custom)

The DeLorean DMC-12 is the most futuristic and tastefully customized car in Will.i.am’s garage. The DeLorean is finished in white and has a customized exterior with completely new headlights. The rear has been completely redesigned with a single-piece brake light.

The custom DeLorean DMC-12 owned by Will.i.am gets a GM’s LS3 E-Rod V8 engine. All the exterior bits are finished in white except for a handful of bits like underbody parts and alloy wheels. As for the price the customized DeLorean DMC-12 set back Will.i.am by $700,000.

1. 1958 Volkswagen Beetle (custom)

The 1958 Volkswagen Beetle is the show-stopper of Will.i.am’s car collection. Not only that a final sticker price of $900,000 makes it the most expensive car in his collection. Coming to the car, its body was designed from scratch and it has a unique-looking exterior.

Will.i.am’s custom 1958 Volkswagen Beetle gets GM’s 6.2-liter LSA crate engine. As for the interior, it has also been customized and like his other cars also gets suicide doors. While most of the functions on the inside are electronically controlled using an iPad installed on the dashboard.
