A short but sweet career is what Troy Aikman is associated with when it comes to football. The Dallas Cowboy legend has had an interesting career, to say the least, but that has not stopped him from living his life. However, his sting with cars is also well-known as he himself put it. He went to the Richard Petty Driving School back in the 90s and ended up buying a Legends car and later an entire team. His personal journey with cars is just as bizarre, he has been pictured with a 1948 Dodge pickup truck, a Mustang Convertible, and he sure loves his Range Rover. 

3. 1948 Dodge B-Series Pickup Truck 

A workhorse of old and a fashion statement of the new, the Dodge Pickup Truck has undergone many iterations and the 1948 version was a classic. The Pilothouse pickups were all the rage in their time and would be widely produced to be a farmhand fit for anybody.

The curvy body and the strong stance would give it an iconic look coupled with a powerful engine that would solidify it as reliable and capable of more than what one would expect out of it. Today it stands as a collector’s dream to live out the 50s with an iconic piece of history.

The 1948 Dodge B-Series Pickup Truck is a living breathing piece of history and does not cost an arm and a leg to attain. It has a Flathead Inline-6 producing 95 horsepower coupled with a 3 or 4-speed manual transmission.

2. Ford Mustang GT Convertible

Aikman has also been seen pictured beside an early 2000s Ford Mustang with a drop-top. This was the Mustang right after its golden age, still brazen and brash but without the same fanfare.

It could still challenge any and all cars of its time with a massive V8 engine pumping horsepower by the bucket load. The sleek and reserved styling wasn’t everybody’s cup of tea but the Mustang GT Convertible was still just as competent and attractive as ever. Aikman was seen pictured with it while a jet is in the background fitting in perfectly with the elegant design of the car.

The Mustang GT Premium has a powerful 4.6L V8 engine mated with a 5-speed manual transmission. This setup gives it swift acceleration going from 0 to 60 in just 5.3 seconds and a top speed of 143 mph.

1. Land Rover Range Rover 

The Range Rover is widely renowned as the apex of luxury when it comes to SUVs and that statement runs true by and large. The SUV has one of the most spacious and luxurious interiors, competent acceleration, and a posh look from all angles.

This gives it a broad appeal and much fanfare along with the recent shift towards a more futuristic look. Add to that the pristine ride quality and precise handling and you have an SUV capable of almost everything from daily driving to hauling cargo. Land Rover has perfected the SUV formula and the Range Rover is proof of that.
